WENDY H. BISSETTE
April 13, 1969-April 25, 2018
Wendy Hope Bissette, 49, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at the Brian Center surrounded by her family.
Wendy was born in Wayne County, N.C., April 13, 1969, to the late E.C. Bissette and Louise Mozingo Bissette.
She was a graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School.
Wendy was a member of Bethel Church. She loved her church and her church family.
Wendy fought a good fight, and blessed many lives during her lifetime, especially with her courage and determination.
A service to celebrate Wendy's life will be Friday, April 27, 2018, at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Steve Holder and the Rev. Willie Teachey officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service and at other times, at the home of Lori and Kenneth Smith, 208 Bath Road, Fremont, N.C.
Interment will be Saturday, April 28, 2018, at 3:30 p.m. at Pikeville Cemetery.
Wendy is survived by her sisters, Lori B. Smith and husband, Kenneth, of Fremont and Terry Howell and husband, Bobby, of Fremont; brother, Bill Bissette and wife, Frances, of Wilmington; special aunt and uncle, JoAnn and Willie Teachey; nieces, Destiney Whitmire and husband, Bradley, Mendi Burnham and husband, Brandon, and Ashley Sumerel and husband, Andrew; and nephews, Matthew Smith and wife, Alex, and Jeremy Howell and wife, Amber.
In addition to her parents, Wendy was preceded in death by her nephew, Brent Smith.
