Retired Air Force Master Sgt. Russell Raynor Jr., formerly of Colerain, N.C., passed away April 20, 2018, at Duke Hospital, Durham, N.C.
He served in the United States Air Force, retiring after 23 years.
He also worked at A-1 Engine and Shelton's Harley Davidson for more than 10 years after retirement.
Russell is survived by a special friend, Delores Kirk of Goldsboro, N.C.; a son, Nathaniel Jones (Marquita) of Harrisburg, Pa.; two daughters, Terri Jones of Harrisburg, Pa., and Candice Kirk of Raleigh, N.C.; three grandchildren, Schuyler Jones of Harrisburg, Pa., and Brooke and Brone Brinson of Raleigh, N.C.; and a great-grandchild, Kamryn Jones of Harrisburg, Pa.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 28, at 11 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, 2335 N.C. 45 South, Harrellsville, N.C., 27942.
Services are entrusted to Wilder's Funeral Home Inc., 816 Commerce St., Aulander, N.C., 27805.
