Debra Paige Odom, 66, Mount Olive resident, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, April 19, 2018, at her home.
Debbie, as she was known by most, was the daughter of the late Ray and Margaret Jones Odom.
The family will be receiving friends at the home of Dennis and Heather Puckett, Johnson Street, Mount Olive.
A private gathering to share thoughts and memories about Debbie will be held for the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Wayne County Humane Society, 104 S. Center St., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530, or Steele Memorial Library, 119 W. Main St., Mount Olive, N.C., 28365.
Debbie had been employed at Mt. Olive Pickle Co., then at Mount Olive Retirement Village, and lastly as an in-home caregiver.
She is survived by her son, Ronnie Cloud of Goldsboro; daughter and son-in-law, Heather D. and Dennis Puckett of Mount Olive; brother, Leland R. Odom of Mount Olive; five grandchildren, Ray Puckett, Arason Puckett, Candice Heath, Amber Heath and Ashley Heath; three great-grandchildren, Jaheim Hewitt, Grayson Heath and Ava Gerringer; and a dear cousin, Annie Frances Kornegay of Mount Olive.
In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by brother Leland's wife, Amy Blair.
