Raymond Arthur Haley, 69, peacefully passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro, N.C.
He was born Jan. 27, 1949, in Windham County, Vt., to the late Bernard "Pete" Haley and Isabell Buell Haley. Raymond was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam. He had worked for several years in the auto parts business.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Bellows Falls, Vt.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Noreen Agoes of Goldsboro, N.C.; brother, Reginald Haley of Winchester, N.H.; sister, Corinne Miles of Grafton, Vt.; stepchildren, Lori Benn of Goldsboro, N.C., Toni Martin of Rathdrum, Idaho, and Noreen Kumar of Phoenix, Ariz.; seven grandsons; two granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Arthur Haley Jr.; a daughter, Denine Haley; and a brother, Bernard "Peter" Haley.
