John Daniel Gurley, 67, Kenly, died Sunday at home.
Funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Kenly Funeral Service. Burial will be at Holly Springs Church Cemetery.
He was born in Johnston County May 23, 1950, to the late Daniel Boone Sr. and Gladys Murray Gurley. He was married to Ann Massey Gurley.
He is survived by two daughters.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kenly Funeral Service.
