CINDY PIERCE COOR

Sept. 16, 1971-March 2, 2018

Cindy Pierce Coor, 46, peacefully passed away Friday, March 2, 2018, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.

She was born in Wayne County on Sept. 16, 1971, to Willie E. Pierce of Goldsboro and the late Mildred Williams Pierce.

Cindy was a partner and served as the manager of Fit For Life in Mount Olive. She also enjoyed interior design, wood working and painting. Cindy could often be found watching HGTV where she would get ideas to try in her own home.

Cindy loved her church, The Bridge, and was instrumental in the start-up of the Mount Olive campus. She was also a dedicated and faithful youth leader for many years until her declining health.

Throughout her life, Cindy lived her life with resiliency and a love for life. She faced her obstacles with grace and dignity and with an abiding faith in Jesus Christ. She could light up a room with her joyous personality and radiant smile. She was an amazing mother to her children and a great youth leader to so many children. Anyone who knew her, knew she could make friends with anyone and was a kind and loving person to all she met. Cindy was blessed to have so many loyal lifelong friends to share her wonderful memories and experiences with over the years.

A service to celebrate Cindy's life and give witness to her faith in Jesus Christ will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at 1 p.m. from The Bridge, Princeton campus, with the Rev. Andrew Price officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.

In addition to her father, Cindy is survived by her husband of 24 years, Dwayne Coor; children, Jordan Coor, Allen Coor, and Rebecca Coor; brother, Darrell Pierce; sister, Lynne Weir (Doug); mother-in-law, Mattie Coor; and her beloved canine friends, Gator and Jaybo.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 5, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at her home.

Cindy's family would like to acknowledge the staff of Kitty Askins Hospice Center, as well as the friends, caregivers, nurses, and physicians who had a profound impact on the quality of Cindy's life in recent months.

Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.seymourfuneralhome.com.
