Cynthia "Cindy" Talton Boyette, 55, passed away peacefully Saturday evening at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of Billy Leo Talton and Margaret Ann Flowers Talton of Goldsboro.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Tammie Talton Williams.

Cindy was retired from Cherry Hospital, and was a member of Stoney Creek Church, where she taught Sunday school and Bible school.

A service to celebrate Cindy's life will be held Thursday evening at 7 p.m. at Stoney Creek Church, with the Rev. Barry Williamson and the Rev. Gary Bailey officiating.

Family members will greet friends immediately following the service at the church.

In addition to her parents, Cindy is survived by her husband, Timothy Eugene Boyette; sons, Chad (Megan) Sparks, Travis (Ashley) Sparks, Josh Boyette and Joey Boyette; daughters, Savannah Boyette and Destinee Howard; her grandchildren, Harper Sparks, Ivy Sparks, Lainey Sparks, Erin Sparks, Liam Sparks, Alison Boyette, Roman Boyette, Anna McMullen and Emily McMullen; a special nephew, Kevin (Charli) McMullen; special uncle, Bobby (Sherry) Earnest; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Cindy's memory may be directed to Cures For The Colors, 203 Cox Blvd., Goldsboro, N.C., 27534, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn., 38105.
