Christopher Michael "Chris" King, 35, Faison resident, passed away Saturday night, Dec. 2, in a motor vehicle accident.
His family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive on Wednesday, Dec. 6, from 6 until 8 p.m., and at the home of his mother at other times (404 N. Main St., Faison, N.C.).
Funeral service will be Thursday, Dec. 7, at 2 p.m. at Faison Presbyterian Church with burial following in the Faison Cemetery.
Chris was a graduate of North Duplin High School with the class of 2000. He had been employed in the poultry industry and had recently become employed with a millwright company.
Chris is survived by his mother and stepfather, Carol Oakes Rouse and Bobby Rouse, of Faison; his father and stepmother, Mike and Joyce Holmes of Calypso; a sister and brother-in-law, Donnis Elizabeth Houser and William Houser II of Benson; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Shannon and Della King of Faison, Michael Elwood and Jackie Holmes of Calypso, and James and Tiffany Holmes of Grantham; four nieces; and six nephews.
Arrangements are with Tyndall Funeral Home.
