Henry Whitley Jr., 84, 6943 Wickersham Road, Fayetteville, died Oct. 20.
Funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at First African Baptist Church. Burial will be at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
He was born March 19, 1933, in Wayne County to Henry and Willie Anne Cobb Whitley Sr. He was married to Madeline Keys Whitley.
He is survived by a son.
Visitation will be Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
Arrangements are by J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremation.
