Gertie Young Edmundson, 75, Stantonsburg, died Thursday at home.
Funeral will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at The Lord’s Table Church. Burial in Eureka Cemetery.
She was born in Halifax County on May 2, 1942, to the late George and Ella Mae Staton Smith. She was the widow of John Henry Edmundson Jr.
She is survived by a daughter.
Visitation will be from 2 to 2:45 p.m. Saturday at the church.
