Alton Kim Vinson, 58, Friday, July 21, 2017, passed away peacefully at Deanwood Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Washington, D.C.
Beloved son of the late Alton and Elnora Vinson.
Survived by his birth parents, Roberta J. Deans and Charles White; sisters, Tanya Curtis-Haley, Paire McRae (Michael), Charlene White and Tia White; brothers, Dominic Henry and Maurice Deans; aunts, Edna Battle, Shirley Perry, Johnnie Easton and Olga McCoy (John); uncles, Willard Matthews (Doris) and Edwin Joyner (Leslie); 11 nieces and nephews; four great-nieces and nephews; one great-great-nephew; and a host of other relatives.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 26, 11 a.m. at Millers Chapel AME Zion Church, 256 Millers Chapel Road, Goldsboro, N.C. Interment at Baldwin Cemetery.
