Kenneth R. Hester, 66, died Friday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be today at 5 p.m. in the Parrish Funeral Home chapel, with Pastor Matthew Cornett officiating. Burial will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 28, 1950 in Johnston County, to the late James Elton and Margaret Nadell Cockrell Hester.
Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Lee Hester; and four sons.
Visitation will follow the service.
