Reba Gray King Williams, 78, was called to her eternal home on Thursday, July 13, 2017.

Reba was born in Sampson County, N.C., on Sept. 17, 1938, to the late Hubert Henry King and Letha Boyette King.

She was a retired teacher's assistant with Wayne County Schools. Reba was a member of Freedom Baptist Church. Her sweet smile, wisdom and gentle spirit will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Freedom Baptist Church, Sunday, July 16, 2017, followed by a celebration of life service. A graveside service will immediately follow at Wayne Memorial Park.

Left to celebrate her life and cherish her memory are her husband, Paul Miles Williams; two daughters, Kellie (Daryl) Langston of Fayetteville and Wendy Barrett of Anchorage, Alaska; sister, Marie Rhoden of Florida; brother, Bud (Lois Ann) King of Keener; sister-in-law, Yvonne Purnell of Goldsboro; seven grandchildren, Kari Walling (Brad), Kimberly Barrett, Kacey Cortes (Irvin), Bethany Barrett, Daniel Langston (Rebekah), Candace Langston and David Langston; and her great-grandchildren, Dante and Jubilee.

Although flowers are welcome, memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534, or Freedom Baptist Church, 300 Country Day Road, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
