SALLY JONES ANDREWS

Sally Jones Andrews, 65, Durham, passed away suddenly Friday at Duke Regional Hospital.
Sally was born in Wake County Feb. 10, 1952, and was the daughter of the late Roberta Perry Kelley.
In 1971, Sally met her husband, Pat Andrews, and married him March 25, 1972.
At the age of 43 and after raising her family, she obtained a degree in nursing, and graduated at the top of her class.
Sally worked as a registered nurse at Rex Hospital for several years.
Sally devoted herself to her friends, neighbors, community and, most of all, her family. She took enormous pride in the accomplishments of her two children and grandchildren, and enthusiastically supported any and all of their activities. The love and devotion she had for her family was inspiring to all who knew her.
The Andrews family will receive friends Thursday, June 15, 2017, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service celebrating Sally's life at 2 p.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Sherman Dilley officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service in Willow Dale Cemetery.
Sally is survived by her husband of 45 years, Pat Andrews; son, William Patrick Andrews Jr. and wife, Mysarah M. Andrews; daughter, Kimberly Dawn Andrews and husband, Matthew James Meadows; and the apples of her eye, grandsons, Anthony James Meadows and William Patrick "Trey" Andrews III.
She is also survived by her sister, Paula M. Cash of Wake Forest; brothers, Jerry Marshall of Anderson, S.C., Sammie T. Jones of Cary and Stewart Jones of Raleigh; as well as many other special family members and friends she loved very much.
