Christopher Thomas Wells, 41, 185 Westbrook Ave., died Tuesday at home.
Born in Jacksonville, Fla., he was the son of Johnny Wells of Virginia and Deborah Jackson of Washington, N.C.
A service to celebrate his life will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with pastor Andy Stovall officiating.
Family members will greet friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
Along with his parents, he is survived by his wife, Deana H. Wells; sons, Steven Elijah Wells and Joshua Dillon Wells both of Chocowinity, N.C., and Michael Meadows of Aurora, N.C.; mother-in-law, Lawanda B. Radford of Goldsboro; stepdaughters, Deanna C. Bowen and Savannah N. Bowen both of the home; and sisters, Amanda H. Davenport of Jacksonville, N.C., and Theresa Ginsburg of Las Vegas, Nev.
