ROBERT ELLSWORTH BRADLEY SR.

Robert E. "Bootang" Bradley, 77, Goldsboro, passed Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center of Goldsboro, N.C.

He was born Sept. 12, 1939, in New Haven, Conn., to the late John Thomas Bradley Sr. and Gladys Pittman.

He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam and Korean and Gulf wars.

He graduated from Hillside in New Haven, Conn., and was in the class of 1957.

Robert leaves to cherish his memories to his wife, Noma of 33 years; two daughters, Teresa (David) Godley of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Mitchelle Greene of Goldsboro; four sons, Richard (Kristie) Greene of Goldsboro, N.C., Harold L. Greene Jr. of Germany, Daryl Greene of Goldsboro and Anthony Marc Bradley of Boston, Mass.; two brothers, Charles E. Bradley of New Haven, Conn., and Edwin (Minnie) Bradley of New Haven, Conn.; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Phaedra Morgan Bradley; and brother, John Thomas Bradley Jr.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 3, 2017, at noon at Goldsboro Chapel Free Will Baptist Church of Goldsboro, N.C., with elder James E. Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park of Dudley, N.C., with full Air Force military honors.

Viewing will be Friday, June 2, 2017, from 3 to 8 p.m., with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Masonic rites will be held.

Professional services entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations of Goldsboro.

The family will receive friends at the home of Noma Bradley, 305 Central Drive, Goldsboro, N.C.
