Shirley Phillips Edwards, 79, Kinston, died Tuesday.
Funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church of Snow Hill. Burial will be at Pinelawn Memorial Park of Kinston.
She was born Nov. 22, 1937, in Lenoir County to the late Ralph and Ruby Howard Phillips.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin Wayne Edwards Sr.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 tonight at Rouse Funeral Home.
