PEARLINE RAYNOR 'TOOTIE' FAISON

Pearline Raynor "Tootie" Faison, 78, 605 E. Walnut St., passed Thursday, May 18, 2017, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center of Goldsboro, N.C.

The celebration of her life will be held Sunday, May 28, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. at Word of Truth Christian Fellowship (formerly Eastern Chapel Missionary Baptist Church), 1401 N. Carolina St., Goldsboro, N.C., with pastor Timothy Dortch officiating. She will be laid to rest at Everett Cemetery, Old Smithfield Road, Princeton, N.C.

There will be a viewing held Saturday, May 27, 2017, from 3 to 7 p.m., with the family arriving to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations of Goldsboro.

She was born July 5, 1938, in Johnston County, N.C., to Pearl Cox and Thomas Raynor.

She is survived by one sister, Mary "Cat" Raynor Loftin.

She resided with her niece, Anna Braswell Hall.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas "Hock" and Pearl Cox, and her siblings, Margaret Raynor Braswell, Roy Raynor and Roger Raynor.

Professional, sympathetic, dignified and compassionate care and service entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations of Goldsboro.

The family will have a repast at the home of Ms. Anna Hall, 605 E. Walnut St., Goldsboro, N.C., following the interment.
