Harold Clayton Maggard Sr., 67, Mount Olive, passed away Tuesday at home.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley.
Clayton was born in Kentucky Feb. 18, 1950, to the late Eugene and Dixie Maggard.
He is survived by a daughter, Dixie Gurley and husband, Richard, of Mount Olive; brother, Dennis; three sisters, Sue, Patricia and Kay; three grandchildren, Bree, Alex and Avery; and one great-grandchild, Janie Marie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janie Reeves Maggard; son, Harold Clayton Maggard Jr.; and his sister, Beatrice.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
