Deborah Marie Strickland, 61, Goldsboro, passed away early Sunday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Deborah was born in Rochester, N.Y., Oct. 6, 1955.
She had proudly served her country in the United States Air Force.
Deborah worked in Civil Service at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.
A service to celebrate Deborah's life will be held Friday, May 19, 2017, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. William Phillips officiating.
The family will greet friends following the service at the funeral home.
Deborah is survived by her husband of 30 years, Chuck Strickland; son, Jerry Strickland and wife, Dawn, of Anchorage, Alaska; and two grandchildren, Samantha Strickland and Jeremy Strickland.
