Mrs. Naomi Roundtree Collie, 65, 610 Woodberry Drive, Goldsboro, passed Monday morning, May 15, 2017, at home.
The celebration of her life will be held Friday, May 19, 2017, at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, 700 W. Ash St., Goldsboro, N.C., with Bishop Alton A. Smith officiating. She will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 U.S. 117 South, Dudley, N.C.
There will be a viewing held Thursday, May 18, 2017, from 1 to 6 p.m., with the family arriving to receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m., in J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations of Goldsboro.
She was born Feb. 22, 1952, in Wilson County, N.C., to Raymond Roundtree Sr. and Rosa Lee Batts Roundtree.
Naomi is survived by her husband, Willie Collie Sr. of the home; children, Aric (Tara) Collie of Goldsboro, N.C., minister Germaine Collie of Goldsboro, N.C., Willie Collie Jr. of Washington, D.C., and Timothy (Donica) Collie of Washington, D.C.; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters; and two brothers.
