MARGARET PAXTON RUDISILL

Margaret Louise Paxton Stutts Rudisill, 86, Goldsboro, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at her home.

Margaret was born in Roanoke, Va., Nov. 12, 1930, to the late Roy Gilbert Paxton and Esther Weeks Paxton. She was married to the late Stanley E. Stutts and Schuyler Rudisill.

Margaret had worked in the furniture industry, and later had worked with the city of Goldsboro sanitary division.

She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, where she had taught Sunday school.

Margaret was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with Michael Brooks officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.

Interment will be Friday at 10 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.

Margaret is survived by her son, Stanley E. Stutts II and wife, Patricia, of Pittsboro; daughter, Deena Stutts of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Rebecca Louise Stutts, Heather Ann Stutts, Harley Dean Stutts, Laura Ann Crowder Bredin, Wallis M. Alexander, Raena Lynn Crowder, Steven-Michael Young Crowder, Daniel-Michael Joseph Barrett, India Suzanne Barrett, Rosemary Todd Thompson and Remo Todd; and 16 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her son, George Gilbert Stutts; her daughter, Vickie Lynn Stutts; three sisters; and four brothers.
