Edward Earl Head, 88, Goldsboro, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at the Brian Center.
Edward was born in Greene County on July 23, 1928, to the late Harvey Head and Elizabeth Head Wolford. He was married to the late Emma Grant Head.
Edward retired from Kemp Furniture Company. While his health permitted, Edward attended Westwood United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 17, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 1 p.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.
Edward is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Pat Wolford of Dudley; and his special cousins, Annette Dail and Kathy Coor.
