Johnnie Redding, 92, 2205 Rouse Road, Kinston, died Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Original Patterson Chapel Church of Kinston. Burial will be at Baker Family Cemetery of Kinston.
He was born in Lenoir County Nov. 10, 1924, to Mary Redding and Dave Thominson.
He is survived by a daughter.
Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. in Nannie D. Loftin Memorial Chapel at Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home of Kinston.
