Vernon "Boot" Lee Atkinson, 69, 6252 Joyner Road, Elm City, died May 4 at Wilson Medical Center.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ of Wilson. Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery of Wilson.
Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Wilson.
