Louis Harrell "L.H." Hinson, 69, Eureka, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by his family.
L.H. was born in Wayne County Nov. 10, 1947, to the late James Harrell Hinson and Virginia Dare Langston Hinson.
He had retired as an inspector with Firestone, and was a member of Faro Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
L.H. was a hard-working man, which was the theme of his life. He was the kind of man who was loyal to his family, who took great pride in caring and providing for them.
A service to celebrate L.H.'s life will be Friday, May 12, 2017, at 11 a.m. in chapel at Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Don Sauls officiating. Interment will follow in Eureka Cemetery.
L.H. is survived by his wife, Ruby Jean Loftin Hinson; daughter, Crystal H. Bartlett (David) of Patetown; son, Darren Hinson (Christa) of Princeton; stepmother, Kathleen Hinson of Faro; and seven grandchildren.
He is also survived by two brothers and two sisters.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 11, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and at other times, at the home.
