The family will receive friends Thursday, May 11, 2017, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service to honor Cora Lee's life at 11 a.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Andy Stovall officiating. Interment will conclude the service in Wayne Memorial Park.

Cora Lee is survived by her daughter, Patricia Roberts Stephenson and husband, Reid, of Garner; sons, Meredith G. Roberts and wife, Joann, of Princeton and Stephen C. Roberts and friend, Hilda, of Pikeville; granddaughters, Melanie Roberts Rains and husband, Bryan, and Jerrie Roberts Barbato and husband, Ricky; and great-grandchildren, Zoe, Law, Hailey, Gina, Meredith and Gracelynne.

She is also survived by Bessie Beamon of Goldsboro and her brother, Burnice Hill and wife, Shirley, of Goldsboro.

In addition to her husband and parents, Cora Lee was preceded in death by her sisters, Alice Rose, Louise Zambelli and Mozelle Hines, and brothers, Buddy Hill, Edward Hill and Ham Hill.

The Roberts family would like to acknowledge the staff of the Brian Center in Clayton, as well as the friends, caregivers, nurses and physicians who had a profound impact on the quality of Cora Lee's life in recent years.
