WALTER H. SCHALLERT

Walter Harold Schallert, 88, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Born in Stuttgart, Germany, he was the son of the late Walter and Erna Beer Schallert.
The family will greet friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times will be at the home of his son, Chris Schallert, 422 Southwood Drive, Goldsboro.
Mr. Schallert is survived by his wife, Katherine Schallert; two sons, Jeffrey Schallert and Chris Schallert and wife, Kristal; and six grandchildren, Jay Schallert, Shae Schallert, Deja Mooring, Kya Schallert, Catie Schallert and Katherine Schallert.
