Edna Earle Brown Williams, 84, Seven Springs, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, April 10, 2017.

She was born June 11, 1932, in Kenansville, N.C., and was the daughter of the late Jesse Bland Brown and Bonnie Barwick Brown.

She started her career in Maryland at Andrews Air Force Base.

Then she relocated to Goldsboro, and resumed her career with Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Exchange.

She was offered and accepted a sales position with Rose Wayside Furniture in Goldsboro, and it was there she discovered her real passion was in furniture sales.

She then opened with great success and fulfillment her own furniture business, Berkeley Furniture of Goldsboro.

Upon retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, friends and her dog.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, Wilma Brown Rye, Ethel Gray Brown Hanchey, Bonnie Brown Moore and Elizabeth Brown Kittredge, and eight brothers, Reed Brown, William Andrew Brown, Charlie Bruce Brown, Jesse Osborne Brown, Graham Barwick Brown, Robert Ervin Brown, Harry Lee Brown and Walter Jennings Brown.

Loving memories shall remain with her son, Woody David Williams Jr. and fianceé, Deanna Ingram, of LaGrange; her daughter, Debra Jean Williams Simpson and husband, Buck, of Seven Springs; her grandchildren, Heather Stewart of LaGrange, Rebecca Royal and husband, Guy, of Surf City, Amanda Hagler and husband, Chris, of Statesville, Kyle Williams and Hope Williams of Goldsboro; and her great-grandchildren, Tyler Beamon, Hunter Stewart, Danny Stewart, David Pope, Dylan Hagler, Carson Hagler and Willow Hagler.

In lieu of flowers, due to her love of animals, she wanted donations to be made to your local animal shelter.
