Lucille "Lucy" Florence Prince Starr, 97, died Saturday at Genesis Healthcare in Mount Olive.
She was born in Passaic County, N.J., to the late John and Hannah H. Prince. Lucy was preceded in death by her husband, Harold J. Starr.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 14, 2017, in Wayne Memorial Park, with her son-in-law, the Rev. Ron Varner, officiating.
The family will greet friends Friday following the service at the cemetery.
Lucy is survived by her daughters, Beverly Varner and husband, the Rev. Ron Varner, of Goldsboro and Karen Buck and husband, Earl Buck, of Parma Heights, Ohio; five grandchildren, Laurie Schroth, Christopher Buck, Tracy Francis, Jodi Cohen and Jerry Varner; and her great-grandchildren, Jareth, Wesley, Ellie, Jessica, Skipper, Cayla, Christopher, Jacob, Madison, Crews, Macy, Hudson, Ethan, Noah, Emma, Gabriel and Zoe.
