Mavious B. Dobson, 92, 204 E.T. Dobson Lane, Magnolia, died Friday at Vidant Duplin Hospital.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church Kenansville, with pastor emeritus E.T. Coston as eulogist. Burial will be in Dobson Family Cemetery.
Born in Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Rose Anna Batts, and wife of the late Amos Dobson.
Four children survive.
Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel and an hour prior to funeral service at the church Saturday.
