Carolyn Faye Black-Smith, 63, died Monday at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at St. John Church of Christ Disciples of Christ. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Memorial chapel. The family will receive friends at 316 E. Payton Ave., Kinston, where it will assemble for the funeral processional.
