Myra Boyce Tucker, 90, formerly of Goldsboro, died Monday, Jan. 30, in Charlottesville, Va.

She was born Nov. 10, 1926, in Tyner, N.C., to James and Beulah Boyce.

Myra is survived by three sons, William Tucker Jr. (and wife, Judith Stadtman) of Portsmouth, N.H., Jim Tucker (and wife, Christine) of Charlottesville, Va., and Rand Tucker of Ann Arbor, Mich.; three grandchildren, Riley Tucker and August Tucker of Boston, Mass., and Alexandra Stewart (and husband, Vaughn) of Rockville, Md.; and three stepgrandchildren, Benjamin Rand (and wife, Tammy) of Midlothian, Va., Meghan Rand of San Francisco, Calif., and Jacob Rand (and wife, Danielle Bruns) of Santa Rosa, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Tucker; her second husband, John Charlton; her brother, Cameron Boyce; and her sister, Hilda Parker.

A graveside service will be held at Wayne Memorial Park, Dudley, N.C., Saturday, Feb. 4, beginning at 2 p.m.

The family requests that flowers be omitted.
