ALICE C. PATE

Mary Alice Capps Pate, known to most simply as Alice, passed away suddenly Wednesday, Feb. 1. A resident of Summerlin's Crossroads community near Mount Olive, Alice was 58 years old.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Pate; three children, Christy Pate Jones and husband, Jeffrey, of Pikeville, C.J. Pate and fianceé, Danielle Roberson, of Mount Olive and Heather Ray Pate of Mount Olive; grandchildren, Jacob Jones, Landon Pate, Jasmine Aguilar and Diego Aguilar; and her sisters and brothers, Frances Mozingo of Goldsboro, James Capps of Grantham, Richard Allen Capps of Mount Olive, Teresa Summerlin of Goldsboro, Billy Ray Capps of Goldsboro and Doug Coker of Dudley.

Preceding her in death were her parents, William Henry and Leona Thompson Capps, and a brother, William Donnie Capps.

Services to remember Alice will be Saturday, Feb. 4, at 7 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home, with visitation to follow. Burial will be Sunday, Feb. 5, at 2 p.m. at Pate Cemetery.
