Died Jan. 29, 2017
Nancy Parrish Jones, 84, Fuquay-Varina, a devoted and loving mother, sister and grandmother, went to be with the Lord Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017.
Mrs. Jones was a faithful, kind and hardworking member of the church, who always put others above herself.
Funeral services will be held Thursday evening, Feb. 2, 2017, at 7:30 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 7900 Ten-Ten Road, Raleigh.
The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service beginning at 6:30 p.m.
A committal service will be held Friday morning at 11 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens of Fuquay-Varina.
Mrs. Jones was the daughter of the late Lester and Lola Parrish.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Charles, Clarence and Milton Parrish, and sister, Pat Tilley.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her son, Dennis G. Jones and J.T. Atkinson of Andover, Conn.; daughter, Linda J. Bargoil and husband, Dave, of Goldsboro; sister, Nina Tilley of Creedmoor; grandchildren, Graham Dale Peterson and fianceé, Carlie Coward, and Jeremy Thomas Peterson; and great-grandson, Graham Dale Peterson Jr.
