Doris Lee Ayars, 85, died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory. Interment will be at Wayne Memorial Park North.
She was born in Hamlet March 7, 1931, to the late Robert and Sallie Smith Davis. She was married to the late Russell Ayars.
She is survived by two daughters.
Visitation will be Monday at 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
