Natalie Nunez Vargas, 79, of Faison, died at home on Friday, Nov. 25.
Funeral is Thursday, Dec. 1, at 11 a.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home, with burial following at Faison Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, Nov. 30, from 7 until 9 p.m. at Tyndall.
She is survived by her husband, Juan Vargas Avila; children and spouses, Dianne and Gerald McCranie of Alabama, Patricia and Danny Best of Faison, Glenda Melton and Shannon Taylor of Mount Olive, Douglas Padgett Jr. and Dawn Padgett of Pikeville, Brenda P. Heller of Faison; sisters, Cheva Riso of California and Mini Miller of Texas; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Padgett; two great-grandsons; a sister; a brother; and her parents.
