CLAYRO FRANKLIN JACKSON

Clayro Franklin "Frank" Jackson, 69, died Saturday at Wake Medical Center.

Born in Edgecombe County, he was the son of the late Clayro and Celestine Pate Jackson. Frank was a member of the Mill Creek Masonic Lodge No. 125 and was a Shriner. He was very active in the Boy Scouts of America and the Girl Scouts of America and was a former member of the Goldsboro Rescue Squad.

A service to celebrate Frank's life will be held Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. at Brownings United Methodist Church. The family will greet friends at the church immediately following the service.

Frank is survived by his wife, Judy P. Jackson; two daughters and sons in-law, Page J. (Chris) Lane and Cynthia J. (Jamie) Woodcock; and seven grandchildren, Maison Woodcock, Zachry Woodcock, Kristen Lane, Elizabeth Grady, Clay Grady, Tyler Lane and Jackson Woodcock.

Instead of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be directed to Brownings United Methodist Church, 2901 N.C. Hwy. 55 W., Mount Olive, N.C. 28365 or to the Boy Scout Troop 10, c/o Tracy Barber, Treasurer, 404 Foxwood Dr., Goldsboro, N.C. 27530.
