Gilbert Thomas Casey, 81, Smithfield, died Monday at SECU Hospice House.
Funeral will be Thursday in Casey Funeral Home chapel at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Scottie Casey officiating. Burial will be in Casey Cemetery.
He was born April 24, 1935, to the late George Daniel and Myrtle Hawley Casey.
He is survived by two sons and a daughter.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at 954 Hill Road, Smithfield.
