Cortez Gunter, 68, of 3252 Octavia St., Raleigh, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, in Duke Raleigh Hospital, Raleigh.
He was born June 18, 1948 in Chicago, Ill. to Charlie and Fonnie Gunter and is survived by seven children.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the James T. Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
The family will gather at the funeral home in preparation for the service.
