JANIE S. JOHNSON
Janie Smith Johnson, 70, of Newton Grove, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Shelton Johnson, children, Terra Rouse and husband, Bo, Tina Garnett and husband, J.J., Boyd Johnson and wife, April, brother Jimmie Smith and wife, Louise, grandchildren, Brennyn Rouse, Johnson Rouse, Emerson Johnson, Nathan Johnson and Easton Garnett. She is preceded in death by her parents, Boyd and Catherine Smith and her in-laws, Nathan and Annie Lou Johnson.
Mrs. Johnson worked many years in the dental field at Dr. Ray Mooring Dentistry.
A visitation will be held on Monday, Sept. 12, at West and Dunn Funeral Home in Newton Grove from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, at Newton Grove Baptist Church at 11 a.m. The service will be officiated by Dr. Jim Baldwin and the Rev. Paul Rose.
Flowers are welcome, but memorials may be made to Newton Grove Baptist Church at 307 Goldsboro St., Newton Grove, N.C. 28366 or to a charity of one's choice.
