Evangelist Nancy Carol Ward, 113 Neil St., died Wednesday at Wake Med. Center in Raleigh.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Headquarters, 1800 S. Slocumb St., with overseer Christine Lattimore officiating. Interment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park North, 1191 Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro.
Visitation will be Saturday from 2 to 7 p.m., with the family present to receive friends 6 to 7 p.m.
The family will assemble at the residence Sunday in preparation for the funeral processional.
She is survived by her husband, James Ward, and children, and was the daughter of Cornelius Wooten and Priscilla Horner Wooten.
Hamilton Funeral Chapel is serving the family.
