David Earl Stafford, 77, 6900 U.S. 701 South, Four Oaks, died Thursday at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield.
Funeral will be 3 p.m. today at Hood's Grove Baptist Church in Newton Grove, with the Rev. Bill West, the Rev. Tony Medlin and the Rev. Joe Earp officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He was born Aug. 23, 1938, in Wayne County to Raymond and Thelma Howell Stafford. He was married to Betsy F. Stafford.
He is survived by a son.
