HAROLD KORNEGAY

Harold Kornegay, 63, 218 S. Spence Ave., Fremont, passed from labor to reward Thursday in Wayne Memorial Hospital.
He was born Wednesday, June 3, 1953, in Fremont to Earl and Mary Evans Kornegay.
Eulogistic services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at St. James Church of Christ of Fremont. His mortal frame will be laid to rest in Fremont Cemetery with military honors.
He is survived by his children, Shalanda Kornegay of Goldsboro, Britchan Wall, Jamarrovis Wall of Greensboro and Nikkia Sharpless of Castle Hayne; his siblings, Mary Daniels, Sylvester Kornegay, Donald Kornegay, James Kornegay of Fremont, John Earl Korngay of Newark, N.J., Darvis Kornegay and Gloria K. Thomas of Goldsboro; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.
Visitation Sunday from 4 to 8:30 p.m., with the family present to receive friends from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Haskins Funeral Home. At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
