Nettie “Tinkey” Octavia Hales, 78, Kenly, died Tuesday at Rex Hospital.
Graveside service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ken Bartholomew officiating.
She was born in Johnston County May 21, 1938, to the late James William and Lizzie Stallings Hales.
She is survived by a daughter.
Visitation and a meal for the family will follow the service at Riverside Baptist Church.
