Elizabeth Garrett Bordeleau, 95, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at Brookdale Berkeley in Goldsboro.
Elizabeth was born in Craven County Feb. 27, 1921, to the late John and Annie Clark Garrett.
She was married to the late John Bordeleau Jr., who preceded her in death Nov. 10, 2011.
The family will receive friends Monday, June 20, 2016, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service celebrating Elizabeth's life at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Elizabeth is survived by her son, Ronald D. Bell and wife, Barbara, of Huntington Beach, Calif.; daughter, Patricia Kilpatrick Lawrence and husband, Joe, of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Emily Bell, Pam Stokes, Debora Bartolomei and James Forsythe; and great-grandchildren, Andrew Bartolomei, Christopher Bartolomei, Regan Forsythe, Madison Forsythe and Harrison Forsythe.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John, Alford and Walter M. Garrett.
