Christopher C. Keith Jr., 70, Richmond, Va., formerly of Goldsboro, N.C., passed away May 21, 2016.
He was a United States Army veteran, and he retired after 37 years of service from the 13th District Court Services Unit, Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Christopher C. Sr. and Mary Keith; sister-in-law, Barbara Keith; nephew, Eric Keith; and father and mother-in-law, Roscoe and Helen Jackson.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 33 years, RoseMarie; devoted daughter, Nicole; sister, Mary Keith; brother, William Keith; sister-in-law, Arneathia Samuels; nieces, LaMonica Stokes (Wrenchel), Deborah Samuels and Valerie Bartlett; nephew, Carlos Keith (Lisa); cousins, Mattie Cooper (A.J.), Lizzie Whittaker and Evelyn Bell; other relatives and friends, among them devoted Vanessa Grooms, Julian Bey, Angela Christian and Wayne Jones; and pugs, William Douglas I and Odie.
Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St., Richmond, Va., where funeral services will be held Saturday, May 28, 2016, at 11 a.m.
