Willie "Bill" Ray Mitchell, 70, Selma, died Wednesday at Wake Medical Center.
Funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Kenly Funeral Service, with the Rev. Ralph Parker officiating. Interment will be at Micro Memorial Gardens.
He was born in Johnston County Dec. 16, 1945, to the late James Paul and Martha Worley Mitchell.
He is survived by a daughter.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kenly Funeral Service and at other times, at his home.
