Clarence Edward Newkirk, 82, Dudley, died Tuesday, in the Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
He was born June 21, 1933, in Wayne County, to Percy and Carrie McClarin Newkirk.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Thompson Newkirk and nine children.
The funeral will at 11. a.m Saturday at Faith Presbyterian Church.
The burial will be in Washington Cemetery.
The visitation will be Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. with the family present to receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Haskins Funeral Home.
