Kenneth Eugene Sasser, 72, Rosewood community of Goldsboro, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Graveside service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 3888 U.S. 70 West. Dr. Mike Collier will officiate.
The family will receive friends and other family members after the graveside service and at other times, at the residence of his sister, Ruth Sasser Davis, 655 N.C. 581 South, Goldsboro.
He is survived by the love of his life, Rudine Aycock; his sisters, Ruth Sasser Davis and Carolyn Sasser Braswell (Henry) of Goldsboro; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Sasser was a native of Rosewood, and was a member of Rosewood First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillian Wadsworth Sasser and Jesse Clarence Sasser, and siblings, L.J. Sasser, Jesse Paul Sasser, Marjorie Forbes and Johnnie Bass.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to SCC -- Southeastern Cure for the Colors, 203 Cox Blvd., Goldsboro, or Rosewood First Baptist Church, 562 N.C. 581 South, Goldsboro.
